The Great Tao of the Golden Elixir

The theory of alchemy is based on the law of change, uses the concepts of qi 氣, yin-yang 陰陽, the five primary elements wu xing 五行, trigrams ba gua 八卦 and derived hexagrams, the system of meridians of the body jing lo 經絡, etc. Taoist alchemy proceeds from the principle of the likeness of the world and the human body, macrocosm and microcosm.

Golden Elixir (Jindan, 金丹) is the central concept in Taoist “inner alchemy” (Neidan, 内丹), which is an elixir of immortality created inside the human body through special practices. Unlike external alchemy (外丹), where alchemists tried to create physical pills of immortality, internal alchemy is aimed at spiritual development and transformation of internal energies of a person.

Neidan inner alchemy includes higher level methods based on certain meditations such as (打坐) and (静坐), the purpose of which is spiritual development and self-discovery. Incidentally, unlike Qigong (气功), which works with “ordinary” types of energy to heal the body and control emotions, Neidan allows you to interact with the original energy (Yuan Qi, 元气) and spirit (Yuan Shen, 元神) of a person, which greatly enhances the effectiveness of energy practices.

The methods of internal alchemy involve working with the original treasures of Yuan Jing (元精), Yuan Qi (元气) and Yuan Shen (元神), as well as the true Qi of Heaven and Earth. The process of Neidan can be described as the recycling of essence (Jing) into pneuma (Qi), pneuma (Qi) into spirit (Shen), and spirit (Shen) into Void, or Nonexistence. Using special practices, the adept melts a special energy formation in his body, the Golden Elixir, which is used to open the ordinary, miraculous and alchemical channels, change the physical body (this leads to absolute health and prolongation of life) and perfect the soul and spirit. This process symbolizes the reintegration of the individual into a state of harmony with the Tao.

“The Great Tao of the Golden Elixir” (金丹大道) in traditional Chinese culture and Taoism refers to the process of returning man to his original, true nature. Gold symbolizes the “unified pre-heavenly qi” (先天一气), which is not subject to destruction and existed before Heaven and Earth came into existence. This project aims to transform man and return him to his original nature. The Golden Elixir symbolizes the highest achievement of this path, allowing the user to find harmony with the Tao and achieve a state of immortality.

What does this field do?

• Purification and harmonization of mind and body (cleansing the mind from negative emotions and thoughts, harmonization of emotional and physical state to maintain energy at a high level);

• Healing and sealing the lower Dantian with stimulation of inner fire in its area;

• Transformation of sexual energy (Jing) into Qi, collection and accumulation of energy (Qi) in the energy system;

• Clearing of energy blocks for free circulation of energy through the main channels (Control and Functional channels), with “closing” of the Microcosmic Orbit to maintain a continuous flow of energy and prevent leaks;

• Inner smile, which activates saliva, to mix with the energies (which after swallowing are directed to the lower Dan Tian);

• Sublimation of the three treasures through the Microcosmic Orbit with condensation in the brain and return of the Vitality to the Cauldron for further transformation;

• Recreating the full spectrum of the process and setting up for completion;

• Creation of the Golden Elixir, through the “union” of Essence (jing) and Vitality (qi) in harmony of the five elements (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth).

How it works?

Reproductive force (jing), Vitality (qi) and Spirituality (shen), having sublimated through the Microcosmic orbit, “gather” in the brain, where under the constant pressure of prenatal Vitality (prenatal qi) and Spirituality (shen) eventually produce a special substance, which, flowing into the mouth and mixed with saliva. Being swallowed, the energy-saturated saliva collects in the lower Dan Tian, from where it begins to glow, illuminating the heart.

Stimulate your inner fire in the area of the lower Dantian. This process reverses the natural flow of lunar and solar currents in the body and forces the entire body to heat and incense from the bottom up. Your heart and intellect come back to normal, the energies move smoothly through the Microcosmic Orbit.

Activated sexual energy (jing) is cooler and more creative than other sexual energy, and the harmonious combination of human (spiritual) love and sexual energy contributes to the unification of the Power of the Universe and the Power of the Earth. Kidney energy is activated, the energy rises through the Main (Posterior median) channel to the skull (head), stimulating and revitalizing the glands of the endocrine system.

As the sexual energy (jing) reaches the third eye area, you feel more saliva being secreted, which is caused by hormones activated in the pituitary gland. When your brain is full of jing qi (and its excess spontaneously “ignites” with the qi in your higher centers, overflowing into the Microcosmic Orbit), over time this causes the secretion of a honey-like substance that drips from the mucous membrane and seems to pass right through your palate to the tip of your tongue, mixing with saliva.

Now that your mouth is full of Golden Nectar, concentrate on the Vitality (qi) you have just caused to circulate and bring it down the anterior-middle channel into the Lower Dantian. This is the process of returning the Vitality to the Cauldron to hold it there for further transformation.

After the Golden Nectar has been swallowed, bring the pupils close together to concentrate on the cavity of Vitality (Lower Dantian). This will allow the disappeared Light to reappear (“gathering” the prenatal Basic Vitality). The union of Essence (jing) and Vitality (qi) is the basis of Tao and the harmony of the five elements (Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth) creates the Elixir of Tao (Immortality).
